About Abdul

Abdul is an Associate in the firm’s White-Collar Crime & Investigations practice. He is an experienced criminal trial litigator and has defended matters at trial against prosecuting and enforcement agencies, including the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions, Offices of the Director of Public Prosecutions, the Australian Taxation Office and Police Prosecutions Corps.

His litigation experience includes acting in serious indictable matters, including homicide, manslaughter, drug importation and trafficking, fraud, white-collar crime and other complex criminal proceedings.

This background gives Abdul a strong understanding of evidence, procedure and case strategy in high stakes matters where liberty, reputation and commercial consequences are often at risk.

He assists clients from the early stages of an investigation through to charge response, trial preparation, advocacy and resolution, with a strategic and practical approach focused on protecting clients’ rights and managing legal and reputational risk.
